Head of Project Management,

you will be responsible for the design, setup and ongoing management of the Alliance Airlines Project Management Office (PMO), which will include but is not limited to: Develop and implement governance frameworks, systems, and processes to ensure effective program delivery and alignment with business objectives. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the intended strategic outcomes. Drive process improvements, risk management, and benefits realization across the organization through effective project planning and execution. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to both internal and external project resources, fostering a high-performance culture. Coordinate the identification and resolution of risks and issues impacting the successful delivery of programs. Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to develop and manage vendor contracts, ensuring alignment with project needs and organizational goals. What’s in it for me? Who We Are Looking For Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Project Management, ideally within aviation, logistics, or related industries. You will thrive in a fast-paced, transformative environment and be eager to contribute to the growth of the organization. The role requires a proactive approach to leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the management of large-scale projects and change initiatives. Your skills will include: Formal qualifications in Project Management Methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMBOK, and significant experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources. Demonstrated ability to establish PMO and Change Management Functions, with experience in risk management, mitigation strategies, and framework development. Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, with the ability to foster organizational culture, engage teams, and align project goals with business objectives. Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and MS Project, with an in-depth understanding of standardized PMO practices and their application within a large organization. Advanced skills in planning and scheduling complex projects, critical thinking, decision making, and stakeholder engagement at all levels, including executive management. Extensive experience in delivering PMO activities, leading complex programs, and managing multi-disciplinary teams to drive effective project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
