The Opportunity We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supervisor - Pilbara Support Team to join our team based in Perth (Forrestdale). Working Monday to Friday, this permanent role will allow you to access OEM training while you build a long term career in a global company. Reporting to the Pilbara Support Coordinator, you will work as part of a team and drive the reliability and availability of the mobile fleet across the region, while keeping an impeccable safety record. You will also: Partake in the coordination and supervision of the implementation of Hitachi projects, shut downs, planned maintenance and day to day activities of Hitachi Pilbara Support Technicians Provide customer service, dealing with Superintendent level (and others) requesting service assistance and schedule labour, arrange subcontractors, parts and assist with job package assembly accordingly Provide Supervision for onsite shuts / projects / annual leave and workshop supervision as required Support and coordination of tooling, parts and consumables for projects and site requirements Implement job package assembly and ensure all relevant pre work checks, paperwork and assessments are in place and completed before, during and after the job Develop and implement strategic plans to improve, performance, equipment reliability and lower maintenance costs To be successful in this role you will have: Relevant Diesel or Mobile Plant Mechanic trade qualifications Previous experience in a Supervisory Role with front line operational staff, with an understanding labour recovery principles Working knowledge of planning and scheduling with the ability to deliver in tight time frames Demonstrated background experience with Hitachi mobile equipment will be highly regarded Good communication and customer service skills and the ability to build long term relationships Safety focus and abide by site safety processes Benefits Work with a global leader and make a big difference in a company that stands in its own right.
