Kennedys is seeking a highly motivated Associate with 2-5 years' PQE to join our Liability team based in either our growing Sydney or Melbourne office.
Working closely with two specialist Partners, Peter Craney & Chris Finn, this is a unique opportunity for a motivated Associate to gain hands-on exposure to shipping, marine, property, and aviation matters across the liability/insurance practice.

You will join a team of highly experienced Special Counsel, Senior Associates & fellow Associates whilst receiving first-class support from our dedicated Paralegals and Legal Secretaries – enabling you to thrive in the fast-paced world of insurance litigation.
CLIENTS:
Our clients include Australian, Lloyd's, London, and overseas market (re)insurers, shipping and transport companies, major airlines, and large corporates.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for a strong litigator with 2-5 years' PQE in liability or general insurance with either a background, or genuine interest, in marine, aviation, transportation, or property damage files.
You will possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Demonstrate the proven ability to manage your own time with excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail.
High level of professionalism and integrity; displaying the highest standard of professional ethics.
Flexible attitude towards working practices and ability to adapt style as required.
A natural team player ready to assist and support colleagues where necessary.
Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a genuine desire to further your career at Kennedys.
