Accountant/Senior Accoutant

We are seeking a skilled Accountant with a strong focus on Tax to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Partners, Directors, Managers, and fellow accountants, working across a diverse client base that includes small to large domestic and cross-border businesses, as well as listed companies. Key responsibilities Manage tax and financial compliance for clients, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, and tax returns (GST, FBT, payroll). Assist in providing tax advisory services, adding value to clients’ businesses with tailored advice. Extensive client contact, ensuring timely, clear communication that exceeds expectations. Review client files and prepare first-draft financial and tax documents for management review. Provide solutions for complex tax matters, adding value through a deep understanding of client needs. Who we’re after You are degree qualified (accounting and/or law are highly regarded), have completed or are completing your CA/CPA qualification and have experience in the application of various employment taxation matters in a professional environment. To enable you to assist the team to deliver commercial advice to a range of clients, you are eager to go beyond the specialist advisory and build a multi-disciplined career including general accounting & taxation advisory and compliance to middle market businesses. You have strong time management skills and can manage conflicting deadlines and interpret relevant legislation. You are inquisitive, enjoy legal research and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills making the complex comprehensible for our clients.
