Linfox Intermodal is looking for a National Manager to lead our APG Express Network, based in West Melbourne. In this role, you'll ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable services for one of our key customers. You'll develop and implement strategies that improve service performance, operational efficiency, and financial results. You'll also focus on enhancing team culture, including staff and driver engagement, retention, safety, and values. By streamlining operations and finding efficiencies, you'll help drive success across our Intermodal business. Key areas: Ensure Vision Zero is a daily and constant focus within the operation and every action is taken with safety at the forefront of everyone’s mind Achieve agreed Safety goals, aligned with Intermodals Safety strategy and specific annual Site Safety Plans, or real time changes in safety performance Working strategically with the customer identify new or expanded opportunities to grow our share of wallet through provision of service excellence and collaboration in go to market activities. Provide customer service excellence in all aspects of the operation and offer high standards of integrity in service offerings, administration and communication to customers Communicate Intermodal’s strategic priorities; ensuring own team is clear on how this translates to individual roles and teams. Comply with Linfox requirements, policies, and procedures at all times, including the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System. Are you the one? 7+ years' experience in Transport operations environment and/transport network planning environment Significant experience in Leading Change and driving strategic goals Operational experience, with significant knowledge of transport processes, compliance, and planning with demonstrable application of this knowledge. A strong understanding of transportation technology and optimisation tools to drive outcomes across the logistics and supply chain space. Comprehensive knowledge of the transport industry, transport equipment and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain and transport optimisation and modelling / consulting methodologies with strong presentation and executive level communication experience. Extremely strong understanding of transport operations and leading transition to leading or best practice end to end transport solutions, including last mile route optimisation.
