Join our Renewables and FlexGen Project Delivery team and lead the energy transition! Hybrid & located at our Freshwater Place offices in Southbank. The opportunity: Would you like to contribute to the delivery of the ENGIE Battery and Energy Storage (BESS) strategy in Australia? The applicant will join the project delivery team to manage the delivery of energy generation assets from the lead-up to financial close, to the commencement of commercial operations. The role will be accountable to the

Head of Project Delivery

and can be worked flexibly between home and our modern Southbank office. Travel to project sites will be necessary as required. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in delivering energy generation or storage projects in Australia on time and within budget. You will be collaborative and possess a can-do mindset. Responsibilities will include: Oversee the execution of new power generation and storage projects. Ensure high level governance and delivery of project milestones focusing on health and safety and quality standards. Manage major contracts, project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder engagement. Utilise project management methodologies to achieve intended outcomes. Actively identify and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints. Build, motivate, and lead a project team to achieve outstanding results. Manage key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory agencies and government bodies. About you: Demonstrated experience in project delivery in renewable energy projects, and ideally BESS. Mature understanding and practical experience in principles of project management as they relate to engineering and construction. Ability to manage a diverse set of operational and corporate stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Passion for renewable energy and wishing to invest yourself long term in a company that is leading the energy transition globally.
