Management (Information & Communication Technology) About the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (the Commission) was formed on 1 January 2019. The role of the Commission is to protect and enhance the safety, health, wellbeing and quality of life of people receiving aged care. The Commission is the national end-to-end regulator of aged care services and the primary point of contact for consumers and providers in relation to quality and safety. Our vision is to support a world-class aged care system driven by empowered consumers who enjoy the best possible quality of life. We aim to build confidence and trust in aged care, empower consumers, promote best practice service provision, promote quality standards and hold providers to account for their performance against the expected standards of care. The purpose of the Strategy and Architecture Section is to provide strategic direction, guidance, and governance for the effective management and optimisation of the Commission’s Digital infrastructure, ensuring that technology investments support the Commission’s goals and priorities. Position Duties Strategic Planning : Develop and articulate Digital’s strategic objectives, priorities, and initiatives in alignment with the Commission’s goals and Australian Government mandates. Architecture Governance : Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks and processes to ensure alignment between technology investments and business needs. Technology Investment Management : Provide leadership and oversight in the evaluation, selection, and prioritization of technology investments and projects. Enterprise Architecture Development : Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture frameworks, models, and artefacts to guide the design, implementation, and evolution of the Commission's digital infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, vendors, and government agencies. Leadership and Team Management : Provide strategic direction, mentorship, and support to the teams within the Strategy and Architecture Section. Position Eligibility Requirements

(Selection Criteria) : Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, and technology governance within large, complex organisations, preferably in the public sector. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing digital and ICT strategies, roadmaps, and architectures to support organisational goals and priorities. Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and methodologies for designing and managing technology infrastructure. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational change in digital service delivery and technology management. Relevant qualifications in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. Position Notes: Salary offered will be between $136,307 - $161,381 per annum depending on skills and experience. In addition, 15.4% superannuation will be paid.
