CIMS functions include (but are not limited to), procuring, ordering and receipting of pharmaceutical stock, maintenance of targeted brand compliance against contractual obligations, inventory systems maintenance and reporting and stock loss investigations. The Opportunity: We are seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our Centralised Inventory Management Systems (CIMS) team on a part time maternity leave cover basis. You will be required to work 31 hours, Monday to Friday. This position plays a key role in ensuring inventory management is optimised across HPS’ Approved Pharmacies Network, and their associated clients. What you will do: Key Responsibilities include: Supporting the day-to-day inventory and purchasing practices of the HPS Pharmacies network. Purchase medications and other products intrinsic to the daily activities of HPS’ Approved Pharmacies Network (APN) Manage underlying data and purchasing systems to maintain best practice procurement processes. Support APN network sites with purchasing and inventory related queries. Fostering effective customer relationships with pharmacies and suppliers. The CIMS team are the liaison between HPS’ corporate departments and sites for inventory related matters. CIMS functions include (but are not limited to), procuring, ordering and receipting of pharmaceutical stock, maintenance of targeted brand compliance against contractual obligations, inventory systems maintenance and reporting and stock loss investigations. What we are looking for: The successful candidate will have: a willingness to learn and apply new skills; be able to work harmoniously and actively contribute to a team; the ability to independently problem solve; excellent communication and customer service skills; high attention to detail; the ability to manage workloads to meet deadlines;  Previous purchasing experience in a similar industry (desirable).
