The Strategic Policy Division of Community Services Directorate (CSD) is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Director (SOGC) to lead our social recovery work, ensuring CSD is well prepared and ready to support the community in times of disaster. Social Recovery ensures the Community Services Directorate is well prepared and ready to support the community in times of disaster by delivering on legislated Social Recovery responsibilities under the ACT Emergencies Act 2014 and ACT Recovery Sub-Plan 2022. As the Assistant Director you will manage CSD's social recovery planning, preparedness and response including coordination and delivery of social recovery programs, logistical arrangements and activities. This is a temporary position available from 21 October 2024 until 19 October 2025 with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. How to Apply:
