As part of the Battlespace Communications System (BCS) team, you will help design and build the next generation of Military Communications Systems and contribute to the continued evolution of those capabilities to the Australian Defence Forces. The Opportunity We are a seeking talented Mechanical and Mechatronics graduates (including students nearing graduation) to join the Boeing BCS team in Brisbane. BCS is a next generation networking product that is the centerpiece for multiple projects and campaigns with the Australian Army, Navy and Airforce. It combines both developmental and off the shelf hardware and software to provide world leading communications capability for ADF personnel. It can be deployed rapidly, and its modular design provides a flexible, scalable solution that can be customized for various mission needs. As a Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Graduate you will: Contribute to the development and integration of mechanical and mechatronics products. Design, model and analyse products using 3D CAD, FEA and CFD tools. Develop of engineering documentation and perform configuration management of system hardware. Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues, customer and supplier stakeholders to successfully deliver innovative solutions so the Australian Defence Force. Your attitude, motivation, willingness to learn and ability to self-task under supervision will determine your success in our team! Experience/Qualifications Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering, computer science or information technology (or expectation of graduation in the next 3 months) Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
