Context of the position

We are looking for a skilled and motivated person in the area of Content creation and SEO. You will be the first member of the Australian content team (supervised by the Head of SEO Japan/Australia). Mission:

The creation and follow-up of our energy content, with the aim of positioning our website (selectra.com.au) as the reference to help consumers make the best choices for their energy contracts. Objective:

To increase the number of qualitative leads for our sales department and improve online sales. Outcomes to be accomplished

Outcome 1: Content Development and Maintenance Organise and plan editorial requirements and content integration Carry out market research and keyword research Continuously identify user intent Write articles based on keyword research and user needs Continuously ensure the offers and information on our website are correct

Outcome 2: Updating and enhancing content Update the details of the offers on our content. Optimise existing content to make it more ergonomic and improve its referencing. Analyse and monitor competitors by benchmarking and finding gaps in the market. Moderate user comments.

Outcome 3: SEO improvement Create the content strategy, campaigns and link building to boost Selectra's authority. Monitor the SEO of the pages you are responsible for. Implement strategic actions to improve positioning.

Outcome 4: Monitoring the website’s ecosystem Analyse KPIs by providing reports on organic traffic, page views, conversion rate, CTR, backlinks, keyword ranking, link building and website health. Work with the design team to improve the visuals of your website. Work with the technical team to fix bugs to improve the website’s user experience and performance. Work with the business team to improve the conversion rate of organic lead sources.
